Well as many of you know, I spent a week in January attending Phase I Training at Quiltworx with Judy Niemeyer and I’m happy to announce that I advanced the next step! Yay!!!
It was a great week and now myself and four others in my class will be working on completing our “homework” this year before returning for Phase II and the final step to become Quiltworx Certified Instructors. I’m very excited and since returning I’ve been working at a non-stop pace to get my class samples and the basics of my homework completed so I can jump into hosting demos, classes and workshops where I will be teaching.

First up will be a FREE demo/class at The Confident Stitch. Shop owner, Kate McIvor will be hosting two, half day classes where I’ll be teaching the basics of foundation paper piecing and how to read a Quiltworx pattern. Each participant will receive a FREE kit and will make the block I’ll be demonstrating. Space is limited so visit or call the shop to secure your spot.
