I had a wonderful time with the QOV ladies at Goin’ Quilting this week. I prepped kits for each attendee to make the My 2 Baby Sisters blocks and taught them foundation paper piecing in the tradition of Judy Niemeyer. Everyone did a great job and next time we will learn how to make the flying geese block.
The QOV group welcomes donated quilt tops, completed quilts or patriotic fabric donations. Our veterans favor the red /white/ blue themes. They have batting and backings and accept donations of long arm quilting. Presentation cases are always welcome too.
